South Ridge students provide warm gift to local hospital

Students with blankets

A group of South Ridge Elementary School students recently delivered handmade baby blankets to the maternity ward at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital. The blankets were original creations by members of K-Kids, an after-school club sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Castle Rock.

Under the guidance of South Ridge faculty advisors Mike Current and Amy Dulin, the group designed a colorful array of blankets for newborns. Current and Dulin are pictured here with the students and Denny Hill from Kiwanis Club of Castle Rock (far right).
