Castle Rock- The Mesa Middle School Winter Guard went to Mesa Ridge High School on Saturday, February 6th. The team took 4th place in the competition. Winter guard involves spinning flags, sabres, and rifles.

“Winter guard is a fun way to be active and bond with friends but it stinks when you get hit by a flag pole” said Danyelle Whispell.

“It is fun for both genders the team is both serious and nice you get to travel around Colorado. Looks can be deceiving but it is really fun”, said color guard member Joe Sorenson.
