Dear Students and Parents, 

The Denver National College Fair will be at the Denver Mart on Sunday, September 24, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  This is a great opportunity for you to meet with college representatives from all over the country to find out more about colleges that might interest you. There are currently over 260 colleges from across the United States (and several international colleges) registered to attend.

There will also be three workshops presented during the college fair hours: The Selective College Admissions Process, The Role of the College Essay in the Admissions Process, and Understanding Financial Aid.

Camp Cardiac & Camp Neuro, run by medical students in over 30 cities nationwide, are 1-week summer day camps open to high school students interested in exploring careers in medicine.

STEM High School is working with Children's Hospital to present a Career Discovery event next Wednesday January 11th, 6:30 PM There will be a panel discussion with medical professionals, followed by a Meet and Greet Dessert.

On October 20, the Art Department is hosting a shadow day. Information and registration info may be found here http://msudenver.edu/art/events/shadowday/. The event is free and includes studio tours, a Q&A, lunch, and an optional visit to the Center for Visual Art, our off-campus gallery.


Music Department is holding an All-State Audition Prep workshop on November 1https://msudenver.edu/music/events/allstate/ and is hosting their Shadow Day onNovember 7 https://msudenver.edu/music/events/shadowday/. The Theatre department will be holding a High School Night on November 9 at 7:30pmfor their production of She Kills Monsters. On High School Night, students will be able to watch the final dress rehearsal of the production before it opens. The event is free, but we do ask that students RSVP and bring an item to contribute to our student food bank.



The P/SL Mini Medical University is a one-of-akind learning experience for high school students who have an interest in medicine. This action-packed, hands-on program includes a panel on careers in the hospital, as well as experiential activities. Mini Medical University will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

     Seniors Interested in Becoming Physicians- CU DENVER has started their recruitment cycle! 

There are two program information sessions scheduled; Saturday, September 10th and Saturday, September 24th.  The first session will be held at the Anschutz Medical Campus and the second session will be held at the Downtown Denver Campus; CU Denver.  Each session starts promptly at 9:00 am and will last about an hour and a half.  Attendees are required to RSVP and can do so by visiting the BA/BS-MD website at:
