The CHS Fashion Club participated in the Charity Fashion Show Event for Bella Boutique, Denver. Bella Boutique is a non-profit organization that provides new prom dresses and accessories to those students who can not afford to purchase them. This fundraising event involves local Denver Designers selecting old ugly out of date and out of style dresses and recreating them. Recycle and Redesign at it finest! Once the dresses are completed they are then modeled on the runway and auctioned off for the charity. In addition to working on their team work and critical thinking skills, students also got to create something special from something ugly all while giving back at the same time. The club raised over $900 for the charity with the auctioning of their dresses. Please give these students a high five! They did an amazing job and I was so proud to call them my students!!!
