Adaptive PE gets a little help from Pi Robotics

Adaptive PE got a taste of driving robots courtesy of the Pi Robotics Team. The Pi Robotics Team presented their robot and book to the Chaparral Adaptive PE class. All students were given the opportunity to drive the robot. The robotics team read aloud and shared illustrations from the book to the class. Their book is published and will be shared with individuals at Children's Hospital. Copies will be donated to patients. Pi Robotics team is an outside 'basement' team of Chaparral students. They are currently competing at the state level. They are showing promise of advancement and sucess at regionals over spring break in California. If successful at regionals, they will advance to the world competition games later this summer.
