Kindergarten Fire Station Field Trip 2016

As a part of their "Who is My Neighbor" unit, the CRE Kindergarten students walked to the downtown Castle Rock fire station. They were able to learn about fire safety, see the fire trucks and equipment up close, and watch as the firefighters responded quickly and efficiently to a real emergency call. The students were amazed at how quickly the fire men and women were able to get into their protective fire gear and into the fire trucks! They even got to see a few firefighters use the fire pole!
