"Out Of Bounds" Performance

"Out of Bounds" Performance at the PACE Center in Parker, Colorado

Out of Bounds tells the story of cyber bullying from the viewpoint of 14-year-old Amy and her peers. On a dare, Amy posted a picture of herself online that she shouldn't have. Now that she has transferred to a new school, she hopes she can make a fresh start. But when a rival finds the whole embarrassing history online, this time Amy has nowhere to run. This honest production is both thoughtful and powerful for today’s students facing multi-faceted bullying.

Performances are as follows:
  • School Performance, Feb 4th 10:00 am.
  • Public Performance at night, Feb 3rd 6 pm.
  • Teacher and Counselor Workshop, Feb 4th 5pm-7pm

Teachers and school counselors are invited to a free Out of Bounds Workshop on February 4th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at PACE Center. This workshop is designed to introduce teachers to exercises that can be used in their classrooms as a way to help students talk about bullying in a safe and productive manner. To participate in the workshop, please RSVP to kfletcher[at]parkeronline[dot]org

When it comes to mental health services, communities traditionally focus on supporting kids as needs arise. This work is crucial for the safety of our students. Equally important, though, is prevention-based programming that can help, early on, prevent the social-emotional challenges our kids may be experiencing from escalating.
