DCSD Fall Sports End with a Nail Biter Soccer Game and Fantastic Volleyball

The Mountain Vista boys soccer team fought hard against Broomfield on Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Stadium for the 5A championship.  They held on all the way until overtime, when they were defeated by a score of 1 to 2.  They overcame adversity early in the season to get to the finals.  Congratulations to an excellent MVHS team for a great season!

Two great volleyball teams went to the semi-finals at the Denver Coliseum.  Ponderosa made it to the 4A semi-final match vs. Lewis Palmer, before being defeated 3 games to 0.  Rock Canyon fought their way to the 5A semis where Fairview defeated them 3 games to 1.  Both teams showed lots of heart and offered excellent competition to their competitors.  We thank both teams for an great season!
